refrigerator

This refrigerator has sweated its way through three summers with us.

Our electric company pays you $50 to take away an old working refrigerator, and then gives you a $20 rebate for purchasing a new refrigerator. Plus, I've been told the cost of running an old refrigerator versus running a new refrigerator will save buckets on a monthly electric bill. So, here's to saving money after spending money with the Whirlpool WRB322DMBM.

Our first impressions:
We don't have to make ice cubes anymore! (Our ice maker on the old fridge died sometime last year.)
It's so cold in there! (Apparently that's really a normal thing for refrigerators.)
Jesse can open the freezer and get out granola bars all. the. time. (We're working through that one.)

(You may notice we had to remove the cabinet above for the new refrigerator to fit. Hopefully, in a few months, we will be removing a lot of cabinets. Stay tuned.)

  1. It's always so sad to see an old fridge bite the dust. Ya gotta admit, those babies were made to last! But I hope your new one brings you many years of happiness. Thanks for the great post and for a nice trip down memory lane.
