bubble dandelion furniture

Image
On Wednesday, my dad's parents (the girls' great-grandparents) came over to hang out with the girls. We also celebrated Heidi's birthday while they were here, and Heidi received this "bubble dandelion" bean bag chair. She loves it!

There often isn't a lot of room on it.

Before naps, the girls curled up for stories.

Anna loved chatting with Great-Pop-Pop.

We love hanging out with Great-Mom-Mom and Great-Pop-Pop!

a third birthday

I had a full day on my birthday. Besides my birthday party, I started the day with this beautiful box (and a hula hoop!) waiting for me when I woke up!

I got a hairbrush!

This is a sprinkler (which we still have yet to try out).

Blue nail polish!

On Lydia's birthday, her friend gave her glitter pens that smell like various fruits. We've colored with them so much that most of them ran out of ink and have been thrown away. So Lydia gave me a new package of these same glitter pens! We have all of the colors again!

After my party and after my nap, I FaceTimed with Aunt Rachel. And then Big Guy and Nonna stopped by.

I have my own travel bag now (which I have already used when I stayed at Pop-Pop's and Nana's last weekend)!

Big Guy and Nonna went home, and then we FaceTimed with Pop-Pop and Nana and then Uncle Ryan, Aunt Lauren, Keiper, and Kaia.

Uncle Derek stopped by, too. Then it was time for birthday dinner - sausage gravy and biscuits and edam…

the wedding celebration of Derek and Bethany

Image
The wedding of my youngest brother, Derek, and his bride, Bethany, was held on this beautiful property in Pheonixville, Pennsylvania. The reception was held in this barn.

The ceremony was held at the bottom of the field beneath that tree (and the barn is to my right as I take this photo).

Before the ceremony, we signed the guestbook frame.

I attempted to take photos during the ceremony with this little lady at my feet, so the shots are few and far between.

My brother, Ryan, seating my parents.

Here comes the groom and his men from the barn.

The girls started on these steps and came down the isle.

There's Rachel, my sister and bridesmaid.

Something was funny.

Here comes the bride!

The waiting groom.

Front row seats (and grandparent laps, too).

You may kiss the bride (and high five the best man).

Lydia and Heidi joined their daddy and aunt for the recessional.

When the officiant asked for the rings, the best man presented him with two ring pops - which Heidi and Lydia later receive…
