Seneca Lake

After our morning in the mountains, Aaron, Jesse, and I set off again for Rochester to surprise my brother, Ryan, for a birthday celebration. But the celebration didn't start until seven o'clock, so we made our way to Rochester by way of the Finger Lakes.

We are quite familiar with the west side of Keuka Lake (the "Y" shaped one), so we explored other unknown areas to us, like Watkins Glen - which sits at the south end of Seneca Lake (the big one beneath the "Finger Lakes" label up there).

Poor Jesse.

So many vineyards.

And we drove just four miles east of Penn Yan, home of Seneca Farms, and did not stop for my favorite ice cream.

What was I thinking?!
